Home Staging in July: How to Use Outside Space
For tourists, the one of the best seasons for visiting New Auckland would most probably be around July because of the pleasant weather. Temperatures in Auckland can be in the extremes but July is the time when everything is more neutralized, where there is a lack of rain and wind and heat and where hiking can be quite popular. In other words, July weather is just fine. And home staging in July can be a good time if you learn how to maximize the space, most especially the outside space.
Home staging in July can be a success because weather can play an important role when selling your home. One factor is taking promotional materials – images and videos – that will help sell your property online or on real estate listings.
Properly staged houses, both for the interior and exterior, are statistically proven to sell faster than those that aren’t staged. Consider the use of outside photography to capture how your home would look, especially if the surrounding neighborhood is nice. Fall colors are beautiful in Auckland and if that can be captured through a drone camera set-up, it can add charm to your photos and promotional materials.
This means that you should also concentrate on boosting your curbside appeal, otherwise known as the first real view that the potential buyer will get of your home before he or she goes inside the property to inspect it.
Make sure to tidy up all the fallen leaves; it’s the autumn colors surrounding the property that should be creating the ambiance for the place, and not the dead leaves in and out of your front porch. Along with raking up the yard of leaves, give your planters a good scrub, clean up the flowerbed and maybe some finishing touches by adding a wreath of seasonal plants hanging on the front door.
Once the outside has been taken care of, make sure that you bring that same home staging in July feel inside your house. Home staging plays more on the neutral side and that’s the great thing about the autumn season is that its colors are very neutral and earth-toned. Warm hues of burnt orange and dark red can be used as accents on wooden furniture and accessories. And to further bring the coziness in, add a few throw pillows and blankets that can make a potential homebuyer just want to snuggle in and call it home.
